Directions to Historic Avondale 
and the Shops of Avondale:
 

From the Downtown Jacksonville area ~ 10 minutes

  • I-95 to I-10 West

  • I-10 West to Roosevelt Boulevard - Exit 17

  • Roosevelt Boulevard to Edgewood Avenue - Exit 17

  • South on Edgewood Avenue to St. Johns Avenue

  • Turn right on St. Johns Avenue

  • Shops are approximately 2 blocks down

From BEACHES ~ 30 minutes

  • Take JTB to 95 N.

  • As you approach the Fuller Warren Bridge (which takes you over the St. Johns River), get into the left hand lane, this runs into the I-10 exit.

  • Once on I-10, get into the left hand lane, this turns into Hwy 17,
    a.k.a. Roosevelt Boulevard.

  • Once on Roosevelt, get into the left lane once again and take your first left on McDuff Avenue.

  • Take McDuff for approximately one mile until you reach St. Johns Avenue,
    take a right on St. Johns Avenue.

  • Take St. Johns for less than a mile and you will enter THE SHOPS OF AVONDALE.

From SAN MARCO ~ 10 minutes

  • You may take 95 N and repeat the directions above OR for a more scenic route...

  • Take San Marco Blvd. north to the Acosta Bridge (a left at the light just before the large Prudential Insurance corporate building).

  • Bear left onto the Acosta and take your first exit onto Riverside Avenue.

  • Take Riverside for approx 2-3 miles until you reach St. Vincent's Hospital and the intersection of Riverside and King St.

  • Take a left on King St.

  • Take your first right onto St. Johns Avenue and less than two miles ahead you will enter THE SHOPS OF AVONDALE.

From ORANGE PARK, FLEMING ISLAND, GREEN COVE SPRINGS and other Clay
County neighborhoods ~ 10-30 minutes

  • Take Hwy 17 North (a.k.a. Park Street in Orange Park then turns into Roosevelt Blvd north of there) to San Juan Ave.

  • Take a right onto San Juan.

  • Take your next left at Herschel (at light).

  • Follow to Herschel for approx 1 mile and it turns into St. Johns Avenue -
    you must bear right at the light at the Gate gas station.

  • THE SHOPS OF AVONDALE will be up ahead approx 1 mile.
